Graphic Design Internship

Great opportunity for a creative and motivated graduate or undergraduate student to gain hands-on experience. Throughout the internship, you will work closely with our Art Director and be involved in a variety of challenging projects.

Job Description:

Jakroo is looking for talented individuals with exceptional skills in Adobe Illustrator. The ability to learn new skills and programs quickly in a fast paced environment is key.

We are looking for a quick learner who can come on board and take on a number of mechanical as well as creative projects. Ability to multi task and be creative with short deadlines is a must. Abilities in Adobe Illustrator must be above average. Some work in Photoshop for cropping photos and/or re-touching.

Duites will include proofing and pre-flighting customer submitted art work. Designing custom product graphics. Working a small portion of time using 3D software to render out customer’s designs into 3D.

Position will be Part Time and Intern will work about 20-25 hours per week. Internship would start as soon as possible. This Internship will create a opportunity for Full Time employment for the right candidate.

Requirements:

    • Advanced computer design software skills using Illustrator and Photoshop
    • Experience with HTML, Flash, and Maya is a plus, but not required
    • Exceptional portfolio work

Web Design Internship

We are looking for a quick learner who can come on board and take on a number of web development projects.  Abilities to code using HTML, CSS, Java, Flash, and WordPress are a must.

Duites will include helping to re-design and create a new interactive environment for customers shopping online. This position will primarily be a programming and coding role. Creative design work will be handled by other designers in most cases. Ability to create a great web experience on mobile devices would be a huge plus.

Position will be Part Time and Intern will work about 20-25 hours per week. Internship would start as soon as possible. This Internship will create a opportunity for Full Time employment for the right candidate.

    • In-depth work using Flash, HTML, Javascript, CSS, Action Script
    • HTML5 coding is a big plus, but not required
